Custom centerpieces for the 2023 Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA) National Specialty
Designs by Ginny was commissioned in 2023 to create some unique centerpieces for Tamarack Golden Kennel for The 83rd Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA) National Specialty . the event is a 3 day event and on one of the days it includes a sit down dinner where the participants decorate their tables and keep in line with the theme.
This years theme was Vintage Gold and their logo showed a vintage truck with some golden retrievers sitting on the back of the truck.
The golden retriever Tamarack Goldens entered was named BLUSH. Their theme was Pink Martinis.
So we built on that.
As you can see we used a vintage truck, painted it rose gold, added pink silk roses and greenery, custom sign, lighted martini bottle, custom labels, martini glass with olives all sitting on a custom dog bone shaped base covered in floral moss for a spectacular arrangement.
Keeping the the logo theme we made a custom license plate for the back of the truck and a cutout of Blush and a baby retriever.
They had 3 tables so we created something different for each one. A large cutout of Blush stood center stage, custom sign to the left with lighted sprigs behind it, 3 martini glasses to the right with metallic tissue adding a splash of glitz's all sitting on a custom dog bone base finished in gold glitter.
This centerpiece had a small cutout of Blush and a large cutout of his name finished in a light pink glitter, keeping with the martini theme, 3 martini glasses stand super tall with mini lights in the tubes holding them up and lighting inside the glasses. silk flowers and greenery fill the center area and some martini glasses all sitting on a custom dog bone base finished in bronze glitter.
On each table we customized a charger to fit the color theme for that table, created a napkin ring with glitter and rhinestones, glittered and jeweled martini glass with a custom drink stir that was also a place card with each guest name.
