Scissors, Comb, Face Floral Centerpiece

A new hair salon is opening in Alabama and the owner wanted something unique in the way of a centerpiece for her grand opening. The challenge was to add a pair of scissors, a comb and dry blower cutout and pull it together into a floral centerpiece. Voila what better than a styrofoam mold of a face as the base topped with silk greenery and flowers for a very trendy look.

Front view shows the scissors tucked in on one side and the comb on the opposite side. We added a platform to the head for stability and wrapped it with faux rhinestones. A white and black polka dot bow were added keeping with the look of the salon. A spray of tiny leaves and flowers adds some height and a butterfly, the sign of new beginnings which we felt was appropriate for this event.

On the backside of the head we mounted the blow dryer and more silk flowers making this centerpieces visually interesting from both sides.
